Feel the Beat: Metrónomo y BPM · Última actualización: 15 de octubre de 2026

2. Qué datos NO recopilamos

Para evitar malentendidos, conviene ser explícito. Feel the Beat:

No

Privacy Policy

Feel the Beat: Metronome & BPM · Last updated: 15 October 2026

1. Who is responsible

This policy applies to the mobile app Feel the Beat: Metronome & BPM (package identifier com.order66.feelthebeat), published on Google Play for Android. The app developer is the data controller responsible for the processing described here.

For any question about this policy or about how your data is handled, you can write to: albertjunior90@gmail.com.

Summary in one sentence: the app has no servers of its own, creates no user accounts, and stores no personal information. The only data processing comes from Google advertising, which is governed by Google's own privacy policies.

2. What data we do NOT collect

To avoid misunderstandings, it is worth being explicit. Feel the Beat:

3. Microphone use

The app requests the audio recording permission (RECORD_AUDIO) because its main function is to detect the tempo (BPM) of the sound playing near your microphone, whether that is music or the metronome itself.

How that information is handled is as follows, and this part matters:

You can revoke the microphone permission at any time from Settings → Apps → Feel the Beat → Permissions. The app keeps working, but without automatic tempo detection.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app displays advertising through Google AdMob, and only through advertising sized to fit the screen (banner format).

When ads are served, Google (along with the advertisers and intermediaries in its network) may process data such as:

DataWhat it is used for
Advertising IDIdentify the device in order to show relevant ads and limit their frequency.
IP address, device information and operating system detailsDelivering and measuring advertising.
Interaction with adsKnowing whether an ad was shown, tapped, or dismissed.
Approximate locationOnly if enabled in your Google Play settings.
Previous ad activity across other appsPersonalising the advertising you are shown.

This processing is carried out by Google and is described in detail in the Google Privacy Policy. You can control which advertising data Google uses in My Ad Center, and you can reset or delete your Advertising ID from Settings → Privacy → Ads on your Android device.

5. Permissions the app requests

PermissionWhat it is used forRequired?
RECORD_AUDIODetecting the tempo of the sound in order to compute the BPM.Yes, for the main function
VIBRATEProducing vibration synced to the beat, if you enable it in the app settings. No
com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_IDAllows personalised advertising from Google AdMob to be served. No

The app does not request location, camera, contacts, calendar, SMS, or access to file storage.

6. Third parties

These are the only third-party components involved:

There are no intermediate servers, analytics SDKs, or additional advertising services.

7. Consent (CMP)

Before showing personalised advertising, the app uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP), a consent mechanism that complies with the IAB's Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF).

When required, you are shown a screen explaining the purposes and the advertising partners involved. You can accept, refuse, or manage your choices. Your decision is saved so that you are not asked again every time you use the app.

If you do not consent, the app keeps working normally and Google will serve non-personalised advertising, or serve no ads at all.

You can change your decision at any time using the privacy options button (shield icon) in the top right of the app.

8. Your rights

For the data Google processes for advertising purposes, you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability, under the GDPR (European Union) and Mexico's Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP).

The developer stores no personal data, so there is no database from which access or erasure requests could be fulfilled. Requests relating to Google are handled through the links above.

9. Retention

No data derived from audio is retained at any point, since it is processed and discarded on the device. Advertising data is retained by Google under its own policies, generally for up to 90 days.

10. Children

Feel the Beat is not directed at children under 13, nor at anyone below the minimum age required in their country of residence. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated if the app changes or if applicable regulations change. The date of the last update appears at the top of this document. Any substantial change will be announced in the app or on its Google Play listing before it takes effect.

12. Language

This policy is published in Spanish and in English with equivalent content. You can switch language using the button at the top of this document.
